In addition to:

1 - provide (100000) acres distributed throughout the city for investment in calves, fish and poultry.

2 - The presence of (100000) acres, distributed pieces of the strategic crops, and vegetables.


 

3-Opportunity to Establish Fish Port

The Ministry of Agriculture has proposed to establish Fish Port in Al Ma'amir area affiliated to AlFaw District on an area of 38 Dunums.

The Ministry announced the conditions that must be provided in the project, as the following:

1- Establishing Berths for the fishing ships and boats.

2- Establishing Modern Fish Marketing Center according to the international specification and technical conditions.

3- Establishing cooling and freezing stores for fish until marketing it.

4- Establishing Maintenance workshop for the fishing ships.

5-Establishing Water and fuel station to supply fishing vessels when sailing.

6- Establishing Protein Production Factory.

7- Establishing Police station and PHCC.

8- Establishing building for the administration and working staff of the project.

9- Establishing shaded car park.  


 4-  An Opportunity to Invest a Project for the Production of Brines and Salt

The state company for the extractive industries and waterproofing offers the opportunity to establish the project for the production of brines and salt in addition to the rehabilitation of the Magnesium Oxide Project.

The project aims at producing Calcium Chloride with specialized industrial uses, especially in the suppression of the oil wells to the production of table salt containing iodine and to take advantage of the sea water.

The project is located in Abu Al Kaseeb district 13 Km away from the city center, the estimated total area of the factory is 4 Km².

Moreover, the design capacity of the project must not be less than 2400 tons a year for the Calcium Chloride and the Magnesium Oxide Project while the production of Sodium Chloride must not be less than 30000 tons a year.

Such type of industry %100 depends on the raw materials as these materials are being made by the companies affiliated to the ministry of industry and minerals ,there is also export potentials as the product prices are linked to the technical specifications in terms of the required purity.
