The company proposed establishing a project of manufacturing various kinds of steel and plate in Basra with total cost of 10 million dollars on stages.

 Mr. BAHRAM EBADPOOR ,the managing director of the company said" our factories have exported about 60,000 tons of these products to Iraq and that's why we have the will to establish a factory in Basra". He also explained" the company is so professional in this field of manufacturing , flat and long steel products like hot rolled sheets, hot rolled sheets re-bars etc." The project area required is 8 dunums with cost of 10 million USD on stages.

 BIC welcomed this project and demonstrated the lands specified for such industrial projects .BIC vice chairman Mr. Jalal Al Nouri said "we are ready to provide the company with all necessary consultancies and facilitate the procedures in Iraq after receiving the application and the feasibility study to be verified.
