A marketing seminar was held in Basra for Sweden companies that visited the governorate to see  the infrastructure there.

A delegation from the Embassy of South Korea, headed by Ambassador Park SAC Bam province of Basra and met with the city's governor and chief of Alisttosmar, officials and owners of public and private companies to discuss the investment opportunities in the province.

BIC has granted investment license to an Iraqi company working in the construction industry for the manufacturing of Sandwich Panel with project value equal to one and a half million US Dollars.

Mr. Saied Hamid ,Iraqi Nationality has gained the licenses after submitting his project feasibility study to BIC an being technically and economically examined and scrutinized he was awarded the license .The project execution will be carried out in a period no less than 6 months from the date of granting the license.
